Privacy Policy
How Calamophyton Industries collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit calamophyton.com or contact us.
Last updated: October 29, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to calamophyton.com (the “Site”) and to inquiries you send us by email. “Calamophyton,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Calamophyton Industries.
Our customer platforms and private work environments are covered by separate notices and customer agreements. This Policy does not govern data we process on behalf of customers under those agreements.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. We currently accept inquiries by email only. When you email us, we collect what you choose to send, such as your name, email address, organization and message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting infrastructure processes technical data needed to deliver and secure it, such as IP address, request time and URL, and browser or device information.
We do not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers on the Site.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries, schedule demos and evaluate partnership proposals
- Operate, maintain and secure the Site, including preventing abuse and spam
- Remember your language preference
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
4. How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business (for example, cloud hosting and email providers). They may use it only to provide services to us. The Site is hosted on Amazon Web Services.
We may also disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, to protect the rights, safety or security of Calamophyton, our users or others, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses one functional cookie, calamophyton-language, and a browser localStorage entry with the same name to remember your display language (KR or EN). The cookie expires after one year. Neither contains your name, email or message.
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; you may then need to choose your language again. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. We honor Global Privacy Control and similar opt-out preference signals as described in Your privacy rights, to the extent required by applicable law.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including responding to and following up on your inquiry, unless a longer period is required by law or to resolve disputes. Server application logs are kept for a short period (currently 14 days) and then deleted.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please do not send passwords, government ID numbers, health information, classified or export-controlled information, or non-public customer data through email.
To report a security vulnerability, email security@calamophyton.com. See also /.well-known/security.txt.
Our public Responsible Disclosure policy is at /security.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time.
U.S. state privacy rights (where applicable). If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law that applies to us, you may have the right to know / access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising), subject to exceptions in those laws. Where applicable, we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) and similar laws. We honor browser opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a request to opt out of sale or sharing to the extent required by applicable law. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no further action is needed on your part for that opt-out when GPC is enabled.
Authorized agents. Where applicable law allows, you may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization (for example, a written permission signed by you, or evidence of a valid power of attorney under applicable law). Unless the agent provides a power of attorney that meets applicable legal requirements, we may also require you to verify your identity directly with us or to confirm that you authorized the agent. We may deny a request from an agent who does not submit required proof.
EEA, UK and Swiss visitors. We process personal information on the basis of our legitimate interests (responding to inquiries and securing the Site), steps you request before entering a contract, your consent where requested, and legal obligations. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email legal@calamophyton.com. We will verify your request using information reasonably necessary and respond within 45 days of receipt; where permitted by applicable law, we may extend this period, and we will tell you if we do. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain why and describe any appeal process available to you.
9. Children
The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact legal@calamophyton.com and we will delete it. Where a higher age threshold applies under local law for our processing, we follow that threshold.
10. International data transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date and, where required by law, provide additional notice.
