01
An approval rests on the evidence of its time.
A record approving an option assumes the evidence and assumptions confirmed at that time. When conditions such as a delivery date, available staff, or a schedule change, the same option may no longer be the same decision.
RAIFFA keeps the approval record linked to its basis. When new evidence arrives, it shows which assumption of the original approval it touches.
02
Separate what changed from what did not.
One changed condition does not mean every judgment starts over. Check whether the new evidence touches only the approved option, other options as well, or the decision question itself.
RAIFFA places changed and unchanged assumptions side by side so the affected options can be compared again. It does not re-rank them.
03
Deciding again is also a human decision.
Whether to keep the decision, switch to another option, or withdraw the approval is decided by the responsible person. A change in conditions does not make RAIFFA change or revoke an approval.
The new decision becomes a new approval record, and the earlier record is not erased. When the decision changed, and on what basis, can be traced later.
