The Calamophyton Master Plan

What we are building, and in what order: HARBINGER, PÓLYA, RAIFFA, and EOS beneath them. Judgment stays with people. Evidence belongs to software.

This is what we are building, and in what order. The order is the point.

In defense operations, bad decisions rarely start with bad judgment. They start with bad evidence. The same source gets counted twice. An unsourced claim slips quietly into the picture. A missing piece goes unnoticed. So we build tools for evidence before we build tools for decisions.

First, HARBINGER. Find and verify the evidence. Collect reports and observations, test each against its source and its timing, merge what comes from the same origin, and flag unsourced claims without using them. Record what is missing, too. Without this, everything built on top stands on sand.

Second, PÓLYA. Weave verified evidence into a single picture. Show on one screen what corroborates what, what conflicts, and which gaps remain. PÓLYA does not choose how to interpret the situation. It organizes the material people need to make that choice.

Third, RAIFFA. Support the decision. Never make it. Lay the options side by side and expose each one's assumptions, its dependencies, and what breaks if an assumption is wrong. No rankings, no "right answer." The choice belongs to the commanders and operators who are accountable for it, and that decision leads to an approval record of who approved what and on what basis.

And beneath them, EOS. EOS is not a fourth step. It is the operating and deployment platform the three products run on. It deploys and updates HARBINGER, PÓLYA, and RAIFFA across environments and keeps each environment’s security boundary. It is the foundation that lets the three steps above work the same way wherever they are deployed.

The reason we will not change this order is simple. Put decision support on top of unverified evidence, and you only make wrong answers more convincing. Let decision support start replacing human judgment, and no one can tell who approved what. Each step means something only when the one before it is solid, and when the foundation beneath it is solid.

So, in short, the master plan:

  1. Find and verify the evidence (HARBINGER)
  2. Weave that evidence into a single picture (PÓLYA)
  3. Use that picture to support human decisions, while leaving the decision with people (RAIFFA)

And run all three on one operating and deployment platform (EOS)

Judgment stays with people. Evidence belongs to software.
